Overview

Leisurely paced 5 mile walk - mostly flat with a gentle incline and descent. 

Route: from the village of Shiplake through woods and fields to Binfield. From there we go to Shiplake Church for the lunch stop and then return to the station on the Thames Path.

Food: Picnic lunch only.

Meet at Shiplake Station at 11.25.

Travel: Elizabeth Line (calling at Bond Street 10.13, Paddington 10.17, Ealing Broadway 10.26 and arriving at Twyford 11.03). Change at Twyford for 11.15 to Shiplake (Henley train). 

Ticket/Fare: Buy Day Return to Shiplake. NB, Freedom Passes are valid on the Elizabeth Line so holders need only purchase a return ticket from Twyford to Shiplake.

Finish: Shiplake Station - about 3pm.
