We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10:15 at Gogmore Farm Park car park, at the end of Curfew Bell Road, Chertsey (nearest postcode KT16 9FG, parking is £2.15 for 3 hours) for a short circular walk to Thorpe and back.
We walk through Chertsey via Guildford Street and the Abbey remains, past the former Laleham golf course and a caravan park to Thorpe village. We pause there for a DIY drinks stop before walking back past the rear of Thorpe Park. Look out for Rumba Rapids, Nemesis Inferno and Hyperia (intense thrills)!
