Overview

We follow the Jubilee River, a man-made flood relief system, which nevertheless has a remote feel to it.  The walk includes underpasses and a very wide bridge. We visit Herschel Park in Slough and pass the playing fields of Eton School, then through Dorney Wetlands.  The paths are flat and easy and the river is always close by. The last mile of the walk may be very muddy in places so boots are advisable, and you need to look out for rabbit holes.  There are no drop-out places.

Food: There are no obvious lunch spots, so please bring food and water and we will eat as and when possible.

Travel: Elizabeth Line - Tottenham Court Road 10.12, Bond Street 10.14, Paddington 10.18, Ealing Broadway 10.26, arriving Slough 10.47.
