Cancelled: Smokies Car Park, Gillow Heath 8.8 mile

South on Biddulph Valley Way , turn right at stile to thatched cottage, cross Akesmore Lane to take path up to Cheshire Close. Turn left on road and Gritstone Trail to the Old Man Of Mow and go right on path down through Roe Park to join canal at Ackers Crossing. Turn right on towpath for about 1.5 mile and leave canal at Upper Hulme Farm. After short road walk east pick up path on left  up to Nick I' Th' Hill. Go north along Congleton Edge and turn right down to Higher Whitemoor Farm to Biddulph Valley Way and back to Smokies.
