Overview

Starting on Tinsley Road, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, this circular walk goes via Eastwood and the Erewash Canal.

Ramblers members from other Ramblers groups are welcome to join us.

The walk traces the origins of D H Lawrence and parallels with “Sons and Lovers” by visiting his homes in Eastwood then heading over to the Bennerley Viaduct, which also features in his book, before returning along the Erewash Canal.
