Overview

Exolore with us the landscape between Somersall and Holymoorside. The river Hipper wends its way between the two. It rises up on Hipper Sick, an area of wetlands on Beeley Moor and joins the Rother in Chesterfield. Holymoorside itself has a fascinating history, once boasting a cotton mill and there are several stories concerning the supernatural associated with the village.,
