Overview

Leaving the iconic Albury sports and cricket ground, finding our way through the ancient heaths, along country paths, through fields, passing waterways, gradually we make our way up to St Martha's church, with its fine views of adjacent counties.  We pass the historic powder mills and trace the Fox Way, the Downs Link, the Pilgrims Way and the North Downs Way.   We return through Shere with its picturesque village buildings and church with unique anchorite cell.

There is a climb at a moderate pace to St Martha's church.

If this is your first walk with Mole Valley Ramblers we invite you to contact the walk leader in advance, so that you know more about what to expect, and can gauge its suitability given your level of fitness.

Please bring plenty of water, refreshments and packed lunch.
