Overview

The bluebells are comming into bloom early so I am adding this extra 6.5 mile walk to catch them at their best over parts of Ranmore and White Downs in mid April. Starting from Stony Rock, we go across fields with sheep (and lambs), dogs will need to be on leads there, before heading north towards Effingham into glorious woodland around Oldlands and Hangers Woods. We return over Dick Focks Common and White Downs, another area renowned for bluebells. We shall see some of the Lovelace bridges on the way too.
