Stockcross and Snelsmore Common - please book online

Starting from the car park, we cross the recreation ground and head down Snake Lane to reach Woodspeen, from where we proceed to Bagnor before making our way to Snelsmore Common via Ashpiece Copse and Honeybottom. Having crossed the Common, we gently descend on field paths to the village of Winterbourne, in order to make our way to Boxford via Wyfield Copse and Borough Hill. We then join the Lambourn Valley Way, to reach Jannaways, returning to the car park via Kingham's Planation. Although largely firm and dry at the time of writing, sections of the route can be very wet, muddy, and slippery following rain. Accordingly, walking boots are recommended.
