Overview

This 12 mile weekend walk explores the varied landscapes of the Surrey Hills, linking open commons, woodland and riverside scenery. Starting from Dorking Station, we head west before climbing steadily onto Ranmore Common, following pleasant woodland tracks and open stretches with wide views across the North Downs. We continue towards the impressive grounds of Polesden Lacey for late lunch stop.  We then walk past through rolling parkland and farmland before descending into Norbury Park. The final section follows paths beside the River Mole as we approach Leatherhead.

Pub stop at the end. Please bring a packed lunch.
