We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a linear walk, mostly on good tracks and field paths with a couple of short sections of walking on quiet roads. There's some mud in places but no stiles and the walk is fairly flat. If it is a clear day we will have views of the White Horse at Kilburn. After lunch we follow the Cod Beck into Thirsk where there are cafes and pubs for refreshments if time allows.

Catch the Reliance bus no 30 from Station Avenue at 08.55 or Exhibition Square at 09.00 to arrive in Thormanby at 09.43 where we will start the walk.
Buses back from Thirsk are at 15.10 and 16.20.
