Overview

With panoramic views, Tinto Hill ('hill of fire') is an isolated hill in South Lanarkshire. The path is gravel and loose scree and there may be wet/muddy sections.  At the summit is a large bronze age cairn.  We will be doing a straight ascent from Tinto car park (free).  Walking boots, weatherproof clothing and poles recommended.
