Overview

This walk follows the Sussex Border Path to allow us to walk from the Bluebell Railway Horsted Keynes station to EastGrinstead with the return journey on the train.

We have recced this walk which covers much of a route we know well through scenic countryside with some outstanding views. We pass the fishing lakes, Broadstone Manor and the crossing at Sharpthorne, the edge of Weir Wood Reservoir, Stonehill, Standen and on to EastGrinstead.  The journey back will be quicker but we hope you will feel worthwhile. We may have time for brief refreshments at East Grinstead before boarding the train.

The single train fare is £13.40.

Please bring a snack and a picnic.

Please text the leader if you plan to join this walk.

Sue Blandford and I are leading this walk jointly.
