Overview

This is a very pleasant short circular walk led by Brian Brown taking in the Turnberry golf course, lighthouse, monument and beach with wonderful views of Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire coast (if the weather is kind).

We will begin and end in the small car park at an entrance to Turnberry Lighthouse. The walk is mainly on flat paths but there is an incline onto the monument commemorating the air-force lives lost during WW2. The walk along the Turnberry beach may require a walking pole. Strong footwear is advised.
