A circular walk from Hathersage taking in Stanage and Bamford Edges and visiting the Hordron Edge stone circle.
The route goes via Carr Head and Carr Head Rocks, then a climb up to Stanage Edge and along to Crow Chin before crossing Moscar Moor. After a short diversion to visit the stone circle there is a second climb up to Bamford Edge, affording great views over Ladybower (weather permitting!)
The return route to Hathersage will be gently downhill via Upper Hirst farm and Birley farm

Meet by the bus stop on Hathersage Main Road.
Catch the 272 bus leaving Sheffield interchange at 9.45 to arrive in Hathersage at 10.25
For the return, we should be back in Hathersage in good time to have a cup of tea somewhere before catching the 16.30 bus
Alternatively, the 10.14 train from Sheffield gets to Hathersage at 10.32 and there are returns hourly at 46 mins past the hour.
