We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A scenic walk starting from Upton Magna to Benjay Lane and then onto Haughmond Hill via Nancy's Seat viewpoint. The walk continues along the Shropshire Way across Haughmond towards Hunkington and back to Upton Magna via a recently reopened special woodland near the Rea Farm, home to CJ Wildlife, followed by a chance to see oldest cruck cottage in Europe and the wonderful wall paintings in St Lucia’s Church. The route will be along field paths, woodland paths and quiet country lanes. One incline, otherwise flat terrain. No stiles. There will be a chance to have drinks, cake and, or lunch afterwards at the Village Store Cafe at The Haughmond pub.
