Overview

This is a weekend walk for those who want to finish around lunch time. The walk combines walking in open country and in woodland, and includes three miles of The Vale Way, a 27-mile, long distance path between Longcot and Abingdon, created by Vale Ramblers in 2015. From the Market Place we head out up and over Folly Hill towards Wadley Manor, where we pick up the bridleway to The Hideaway. We then follow Sandy Lane into Hatford, our turn-around point, following Frogmore Brook back to Faringdon. Bring a drink and snack for the refreshment stop.
