Overview

Walk from South Zeal uphill to the stone row, then down to Little Hound Tor and the White Moor stone circle. The walk goes around the flanks of Cosdon Hill, through a prehistoric settlement, with beautiful 360 degree views.  We then walk across the River Taw ford and on to Belstone, along Belstone Cleave and the he River Taw to Sticklepath, then back to South Zeal

This is a typical Dartmoor walk, uphill from South Zeal, rough underfoot, may be boggy areas.

Crossing the River Taw ford involves walking through water a few inches deep. This is easily doable, but waterproof walking boots are definitely necessary
