Overview

A circular walk from North Newbald Village Hall. Heading west out of the village through Houghton Woods to North Cliffe. Following a brief section of road walking uphill to Castle Farm and Houghton Hall Estate, then into Sancton Dale for a lunch stop. Continuing uphill on open access land and permissive paths before turning south onto the Yorkshire Wolds Way for a return to North Newbald.

Using field and woodland tracks, a few sections will be muddy so walking poles will be helpful.
