Overview

A circular walk from the village of Settrington led by Anne Exton. A fine walk in an attractive area with great views of the Yorkshire Wolds and the distant Moors. The route is through the pretty village of Settrington and up a minor road to Town Wold, and along Bassett Brow and down to Thorpe Bassett. The return route is along the Yorkshire Wolds Way and up to Settrington Beacon and High Bellmanear, before the descent down Fizgig Hill and back to Settrington. The walk is graded 'moderate plus' as there is over 1200ft of ascent.
