We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Merrivale we’ll head across the moor past Vixen Tor to Sampford SA and then piney (for coffee), then via Ward Bridge (yes steep hill), and then follow very minor roads and tracks south passing through wooded Eggworthy and moorland edge. We’ll then turn to walk north along Routrundle past Ingra Tor towards Davytown and the rough track back to Merrivale.

A very late autumn walk, hopefully with still some colour on tracks, minor roads and open moor. An attractive mix.
