We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We’ll follow the East Okement river east to the Tarka trail and then south through woods until a foot bridge on to Belstone Common. Over the hill to Belstone and then enjoy one side of Belstone Cleave towards Sticklepath before returning on the other. From Belstone we’ll head back via Higher Priestacott to the East Okement and the station.
This walk follows a mixture of good paths and more challenging ones which can be narrow especially Halstock Wood above the river.
It’s a walk many have enjoyed on other occasions.
