Enjoy a quieter part of the Pentlands with expansive views of the surrounding area, a lesser known reservoir, West Water, popular with resident and migrating birds, and historical links to prehistoric inhabitants, the Romans and the Covenanters.
The route, on estate/farm tracks most of way, goes from West Linton golf club to the Medwin Burn and returns via North of Mendick Hill. There are 2 short sections over moorland.
