We are the Leeds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will start from Ribblehead car park and follow the well marked footpath climbing Whernside. There are wonderful views as we climb surpassed only by the 360 degree view from the top. We will then descend towards the Hill Inn, which is steep but there is now a stone "stairway". At the bottom of the hill approximately a mile from the road, we will fork off to our left nd follow the valley through fields and pastures back to the Ribblehead Viaduct.
Mostly paved or gravelled tracks but occassionally where there is none, it can be wet and muddy.
The car park is on Low Sleights Road at the junction with Gauber Road.
