Overview

This is an extremely pretty walk with streams, bridges, woodland, beautiful buildings - bring your camera & be ready to take lots of photos!

The walk starts with a yomp across rolling Hampshire countryside, taking in Freefolk, with it's gorgeous 13th century church & the longest residential run of thatch in the country – 18 grade II listed cottages. Oh and we will go past the Bombay Sapphire distillery - though sadly won't have time to sample any gin!

We will then pass a number of fine mills which span sparkling clean chalk streams & rivers of the Test.

There is a small car park at the mill which is is free of charge but there may not be many spaces. However there is an alternative free car park in Bell Street which is approx 5 min walk away - where there are also public toilets. It's worth allowing a few mins extra to allow you to get to the start in good time.
