This is an extremely pretty walk with streams, bridges, woodland, beautiful buildings - bring your camera & be ready to take lots of photos!
The walk starts with a yomp across rolling Hampshire countryside, taking in Freefolk, with it's gorgeous 13th century church & the longest residential run of thatch in the country – 18 grade II listed cottages. Oh and we will go past the Bombay Sapphire distillery - though sadly won't have time to sample any gin!
We will then pass a number of fine mills which span sparkling clean chalk streams & rivers of the Test.
Please bring provisions for one refreshment stop around half way.
This is a shorter leisurely walk with no stiles and not much ascent. It's an ideal introductory walk for anyone tempted to join our group - why not give us a try?
Dogs welcome with well behaved owners.
As this is a shorter walk, there is no planned post-walk refreshments but Whitchurch is a lively village with a decent pub and some really lovely cafes.
