Overview

The route starts from the car park at White Hill and heads west along the gallops with spectacular views of The Warren below us. We pass Watership Down before descending to Barton Copse and wandering through the Sydmonton Estate in preparation for a short ascent to Nuthanger Farm via Watership Farm. The route then descends gently to the outskirts of Ecchinswell where we pick up the Brenda Parker Way to Kingsclere. Please note that some sections of the Brenda Parker Way lived up to expectations on the recce - muddy! From Kingsclere the route ascends through Freemantle Park Down to Cottington's Hill before the gradual descent to the car park at White Hill. The section along Cottington's Hill was quite overgrown although should not cause any difficulties.
