Overview

St Luke's is the oldest building in Widnes, circa 1180.We then walk North, following the old St Helens to Widnes railway to the top of The Dream, a large statue dedicated to the miners of Sutton Manor Colliery.Heading West we come to Rainhill and then across fields we next reach Cronton, where the second of our two ancient crosses is situated.We then turn East and back to St Luke's.Other than one short but fairly steep section to the top of The Dream, the route is gently undulating.
