Meet at Windsor & Eton Riverside Railway station ticket hall in time for departure at: 10.30a.m.
A relaxed walk along towpaths and meadows with views of many historic sites including Windsor Castle, Eton College and the Thames. We’ll pause for coffee at one of several cafes in Eton High Street in the morning. Towards the end of the walk we reach the Windsor and Eton Brewery, just off the river, where we stop for lunch and a little sampling. Finally a meander along the Thames back to the station. For those with a retail therapy habit an independent diversion into the many shops and boutiques that Windsor offers may prove too much to resist, before catching a train of your choice back home.
