Join me for a winter walk through undulating countryside comprising farmland and woodland between Witley and Wormley. There is one short steep ascent, no stiles and near the hamlet of Sandhills, a viewpoint looking towards the North Downs. We pass by two large stretches of water, with inevitable localised boggy areas after heavy rain. We go under and later over the railway. At the end of the walk there is a pub for a possible refreshment stop. Livestock in fields suggest walk not suitable for dogs at that time of year.
There is plenty of parking available in an area known as Churchfields in the heart of Witley but can I urge you to park thoughtfully and not leave massive gaps between cars.
