Overview

A 12-mile circular South Downs walk from Castle Hill, Woodingdean, stopping for a picnic lunch in Telscombe. The walk starts at Castle Hill car park. The car park can be busy. Ramblers who are driving, please consider offering a lift to others. The walk is also accessible by the No. 22 bus from the C4 stop at Churchill Square, leaving at 9.41am and arriving at the Downs Link Hotel stop at 10.04am. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the car park.

We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
