Overview

This is a circular walk starting in Middleham Market Square and going along the Gallops on Middleham Low Moor.  If we are lucky we will see race horses in training on these Gallops.

We then head towards Tupgill Park the home of Forbidden Corner.  Heading south we cross the River Cover to reach Caldbergh.

We then follow the track across Hanghow Pastures to reach the road by Braithwaite Hall.

Heading North we cross the River Cover by Hullo Bridge on our way back and walk alongside the river to Straight Lane. We walk up Straight Lane passing through Chapel Fields to reach our starting point in Middleham market Square.

Middleham Castle associated with Richard 111 is in Middleham and we will have good views of this on our walk.
