Overview

You are welcome to join York Ramblers for a walk in Nidderdale around Pateley Bridge.

On leaving the Nidd Walk long stay car park the walk crosses the River Nidd and upwards passed Eagle Hall on to the Nidderdale Way.  Leaving the Nidderdale Way near Hillend and pass Coldstonesfold Farm then cross Brandstone Beck followed by Ashfold Side Beck on our way to Heathfield. Rejoining the Nidderdale Way for a short distance we head downhill to Wath then follow Wath Lane and a footpath passing Scot Gate Ash on to Old Church Lane.  Descending on this Lane we pass the remains of St. Mary’s Old Church down to the Panoramic Walk and return to our cars.
