Overview

Our route takes us west from Compton up to Hill Barn and through Robin Wood.  We cross the minor road and go through fields to Eckensfield, joining a track which takes us down to Stubb's Copse and the Sussex Border Path.  At Woodcroft Farm we join the minor road and turn north to Head Down Hangar and plantation. We join the SDW above Buriton and turn east, following the SDW until we reach Hundred Acres.  We then turn south through West Harting Down to Hucksholt Farm.  We then take tracks and paths back down to Compton.  For the last 0.5 mile into Compton we will be walking beside the B 2146.

Hilly walk with lots of ascents and descents.
