Overview

This is a flat walk around Chichester Harbour starting and finishing at the Crown and Anchor in Dell Quay Road. Taking the harbourside path down to the Marina and through Birdham Pool, we make our way across to St Nicholas Church for coffee break before heading out to join the harbour path at Chaldock. The harbourside path leads us round to Itchenor, the lunch stop, before continuing back along the Salterns Way to the starting point. Expect to see flocks of migratory geese , ducks, egrets and wading birds as well as plenty of human activity on the water. Far reaching views across the harbour of South Downs, Chichester Cathedral and Goodwood.
