Overview

This is a flat circular walk from Heyshott over to Graffham. The imposing scarp slopes of the South Downs form the backdrop for most of the walk as the Serpents trail leads us over sandy heather and gorse covered  heathland towards Graffham. The good paths take us through lightly shaded rhodendron woods,, pastures and alpaca enclosures .After lunch stop in Graffham, we continue across arable and pasture land back to Heyshott
