Overview

Our route takes us through Lower Wepham Wood and Tenantry Copse, then we move out onto the open downs at Barpham Hill. Our mid morning stop will be in this area.  We pass Lee Farm and turn north to Chantry Post on the SDW.  At the SDW we turn immediately south towards Michelgrove, where we re-enter Angmering Park and the woods.  We should see bluebells throughout the woods and great views across the downs.

There are ascents and descents throughout the walk.  It could be muddy in the woods. Lunch will be about 12.30.

The car park will be busy so arrive early if you can.  We may pass through fields with lambs and sheep so dogs need to be on leads in these areas.

Please book with the leader.
