If you like myself enjoy a robust discussion after reading a book then this is the group for you. Join me for another great discussion at the Capital Walkers Bookclub on Monday 18 August
The book for August is Drive Your Plow Over The Bones Of The Dead by Olga Tokarczuk. It is available in paperback, kindle and audio editions and in many public libraries. Our book each month is currently chosen by those present at the previous meeting.
Booking is required for this event as places will be limited. Please text 07479964411 or email the event organiser on walkleading@capitalwalkers.org.uk to secure your place.
A WhatsApp group shall be set up to communicate the meeting place in central London. We shall meet from 6.30pm to enable people to get a drink and/or even dinner, for a prompt 7pm start, with a formal finish time of 8.30pm. For those who wish there will be the option of lingering a little longer over a drink.
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austin's birth we are going to read one of her works in September, so look out for the details in the program. This may be the opportunity you have been waiting for, to read and discuss a classic novel.
