We are the Chester-le-Street Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Summer Solstice- Thursday 20th June
We meet at the old Civic Centre car park and leave at 6.30pm for South Shields. We start our short walk at 7pm. For those going straight to South Shields we will meet at the car park near Gypsies Green and Coleman’s Fish Restaurant. Please see photo attached showing car parking details. We will walk along to the pier and return to the car park. We will then enjoy our picnics on the beach and toast the sun going down.
We were very lucky with the weather last year, some of our group enjoyed a paddle, hopefully we can do the same this year🤞.
