Overview

The walk starts with a 3 mile walk on forestry tracks, followed by 1.5 miles on quiet roads before descending to the River Eden.  The return route includes 3 miles along the river where there are some tricky sections due to fallen trees and mud and finally half a mile on a quiet road.
