Overview

Waldridge

This is a moderate 4.5 mile walk around Waldridge Fell - walking towards Edmondsley, and then onwards to Nettlesworth. We pass near to Felledge RSPCA and then back towards Waldridge. After the walk, we will be heading to the cafe at Congburn Nurseries for refreshments, which is only a 5 minute drive away.

Directions:- From Chester le Street, you head west on Waldridge Road and drive through Waldridge village: the car parks are on the left after the next junction. To drive to the cafe after the walk, turn left out of any of the car parks and follow Edmondsley Road to the crossroads: turn right and down the bank and you will see the signs for the Cong Burn Nurseries on your right.
