We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is under 5 miles but there are some hills. We will walk through a Nature Reserve, behind the cemetery and on to Chilcomb on a very old lane. We join the South Downs Way. The ground underfoot is generally good and mostly on sound paths or quiet roads. We will need to cross a busy road and there is a short spell walking by a road with fast cars.
Please bring poles for the hill.
