We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely walk in the Test and Anton valleys. There are no stiles, with one central 500yd section on a quiet lane passing by Fullerton. The second half of this is uphill but not steep. There is one steepish but short (150yds or so) grassy hill section which does offer spectacular views across the valley, and a good excuse for resting at the top.
The going is firm but soft in places, but much depends on how much rainfall we have in the preceding 2-3 days.
We should aim to meet in the car park in time to pre-order lunch and use the facilities before setting off at 10.15am. Lunch will be booked for 1pm.
