Overview

This walk will now be lead by Jayne H instead of Louise T.

A pleasant varied walk around Alvechurch, through part of town, playing fields, some canal, field and road walking and a few stiles (around 5) one of which is tricky but doable (a wooden fence scenario without a step up and down).

On the recce Sunday 5th October conditions were good despite recent rain, there was no mud or surface water.

Meet at Alvechurch car park B48 7SE at 10.15 for 10.30 start.

There is free parking in the station car park (no toilets) and on nearby roads. (may be limited).

For those travelling by train, the 10.06 from Longbridge ( 9.53 from Selly Oak, 9.59 from Kings Norton) is due to arrive in Alvechurch at 10.18.

With a senior pass you need to buy a return ticket from Longbridge.
