Ground waterlogged
We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Pre-registration preferred**
Moderately paced 8 mile walk.
Undulating; one short steep climb.
Route: Amersham Station via Chesham to Chalfont & Latimer Station...higher level route to (hopefully) avoid the mud!
Meet at Amersham Station (Zone 9) at 10.35 (toilets should be open ‐ southbound platform).
Lunch stop: picnic lunch at Chesham. Pub/coffee shop for refreshments.
Travel: Marylebone 09.56/Harrow-on-the-Hill 10.08 - Chiltern Railways train - arr Amersham at 10.32.
Ticket/Fare: Zone 9 ‐ Freedom Pass applies.
Finish: Chalfont & Latimer Station (Zone 8) - for Metropolitan line to Baker St or Chiltern Railways to Marylebone.
