Moderate-paced 10.5 mile linear walk to Sevenoaks Station over undulating terrain. Drop-out (taxi) possible after 5.5 miles..
Route: from Edenbridge to Sevenoaks Station via Pootings, Toy’s Hill, Ide Hill, Goathurst Common, Whitley Forest and Millbank Wood.
Lunch stop at Ide Hill after 5.5 miles at ‘The Cock Inn’ or picnic on the green. Drop-out point (taxi).
Meet at Edenbridge Station at 10.36.
Travel: Victoria 09.35/Clapham Junction 09.42/East Croydon 09.53 - Portsmouth Harbour train - changing at Redhill to 10.21 Tonbridge service arr Edenbridge at 10.36.
Ticket/Fare: Buy two single tickets. For those with a Zone 1-6 Travelcard or Freedom Pass – Out: Zone 6 (Coulsdon South) to Edenbridge. Return: Single from Sevenoaks to Knockholt.
Finish: Sevenoaks Station (frequent trains).
