Overview

Literary London walk of about 7.5 miles. Fairly flat pavement walking with frequent stops for talks. Moderate pace between stops.

Many drop-out points.

Route:  linear along Strand and Fleet Street to the City and Barbican; then back through the City to finish at Tower Hill.

Lunch:  Choice of venues in Cheapside area.

Meet at Embankment Station at 10.30 (Circle/District/Bakerloo/Northern lines).

Ticket/Fare: Oyster/Contactless/Freedom Pass. Zone 1.

Finish: Tower Hill Station (Circle/District lines).
