A gentle hill to start with which offers lovely views and then past some of the old houses of Compton and an interesting horse establishment and then through the woods and back to base.

Meet outside The Withies PH, Withies Lane, Compton. Approaching from A3, take 1st exit from roundabout onto The Street/B3000. After 0.9 miles turn L into Withies Lane. Approaching from Guildford/A3100, at Peasmarsh roundabout turn R onto B3000 (New Pond Road). After 1.6 miles turn R into Withies Lane. Park on common opposite Withies Inn.
