Overview

As we drive to the car park at Hollin Bank we get wonderful views of Stanage Edge where our walk ends - an exciting day to come!
Footpaths through fields and woodland lead us across the upper reaches of two valleys that descend into Hope Valley below. We then enter the access land of Bamford Moor, ascend to an old quarry and follow the path along the edge of the crags - the views from here are breathtaking!
A gradual descend around the hillside leads us to Jarvis Clough and a path that takes us across the moor to Stanage Edge. After a lunch break below the crags, we walk along the edge to High Neb and on to the long causeway. From here we have spectacular views down to Bamford Edge and beyond.
A walk down through woodlands takes us back to the car park.
