Overview

From the car park we walk up to Grindbrook Booth and join the Pennine Way to Upper Booth. We then turn north to follow Crowden Brook all the way up to Crowden Tower. This clough is a real gem - so inviting in the lower section walking close to the brook, and a challenging semi- scramble in the upper section. We can then enjoy a coffee break on the edge with Crowden Tower beside us.
A lovely walk along Edale Edge takes us via the top of Grindsbrook, Upper Tor and Nether Tor, to drop down to Golden Clough for our walk back.
We will pass (or maybe not!) the Nagg’s Head on our way back to the car park.
