Overview

A moderately strenuous walk of eleven and a half miles starting from Mytham Bridge, Bamford at ten o'clock.

The route will ascend to Win Hill by way of Thornhill then descend through the forest to cross Ladybower dam.  It will then climb to Bamford Moor above Heatherdene before crossing Jarvis Clough and gaining Stanage Edge half way between Stanage End and Crow Chin.  We will follow the edge as far as the path towards North Lees before returning to Mytham Bridge by way of Green's House and Hurstclough Lane.

No dogs please.  There will be breaks in the morning and afternoon as well as at lunch time so bring plenty to eat and drink.
